Arch, you have mentionned going on holiday

to France soon, and the possibility of driving a Broom Wagon. Would you like to tell us more about your jolidays, and whereabouts you are going?
Certainly. I set off tomorrow, to work the weekend on the Get Cycling Show at Nottingham. Then I have a couple of days at my Mum's in Leicester, and then I join a bunch of 6 mates and we drive down to Newhaven to get a ferry to Dieppe (all of us with recumbent bikes or trikes!). Then over the course of the next 5 or 6 days, we ride south, through France to the retirement house of one of the couples, in the village of Esse (nearest city, Limoges, nearest town, Confolons). We rest there for a couple of days, wash our smalls and so on, and then ride back up to Dieppe, via a different route.
Then I get back to Leicester, have a swift turnround and get up to York in time to work on the Velo Vision stand at the CTC Rally!
Last time we did the trip we had a person who did all the driving (the car is backup and carries the luggage), but this time those of us who can drive will be sharing the driving. I've never driven on the wrong side of the road before!
