Tea? (Part 1)

[Milo]

Im on the cider tonights.
Although I failed to get a good evening cider so am on the morning cider.

[Speicher]

It is good night from me now, off to beddy byes.

[wafflycat]

I am partaking of more tea. Life is good today. A day to be treasured. Not because of *stuff* but because of being surrounded by those I love: husband, son and animals. Twee to some, but hey, who cares!

[longers]

Not twee, not to me anyway, nothing more important in life than those and that you love.

[Milo]

I had a front wheel blow out today which was a tad freaky.
Tyres were only 2 months old too.

[longers]

Ooh! Bet that was exciting . You weren't using your shoe as a brake at the time?

[Milo]

Luckily I remembered to use the rear brake.
The whole affair was made worse by being on the a4 at the time.
Now have a weird setup of 23c on the front and 25 on the back.
Have to say these michilin (sp?) speediums are much more nicer than the vittoria rubinos.

[tdr1nka]

Waffles, it is the twee of life and it is to be cherished and celebrated!

Miloat , I hope you are in appropriate evening wear, to go with the cider?

Bad news 'bout the tyre, I had a big rear blow 'round the elephant once.

[longers]

I'm sure I've heard of odd size tyres being perfectly acceptable. I have no evidence of this and you might have them the wrong way round .

I had a lucky puncture last week. I picked up a large thorn, still attached to twig about 4 miles from work and it stayed in all of the way there without losing pressure. When I flipped my bike I found that my back tyre casing was falling off. I'd never have got to Nottingham with it so it was indeed a lucky puncture as I still had time to rush home to my new LBS for a gatorskin.

Oh dear... you might have ended up as a Darwin Award candidate with an elephant blow-out!

[Milo]

[tdr1nka]

Nothing less than a pair of fresh crackers, y'hear miloat?
You know what happened to Wafflycat the last time you's was on here in the buff!

I am of course, resplendant in just my pyjama bottoms.
They are black and covered in pictures of robots and spacemen!

[Milo]

Ooh jim jams I want a pair now.

[tdr1nka]

Miloat, you need blue pyjamas with motorbikes on me'thinks?
