Taking the biscuit

Tdr1nka, it was very brave of you to admit to eating ateteen (sp ;)?) cakes very early this morning, or late last night, I forget which.

I didn't really know at the time. One of my tips for dealing with moments of insomnia, besides 'stuffing oneself royal' with cakes, is to avoid seeing what the time really is. IMO, once you know the time you are more likely to stress and potentially stay awake longer.

The fact is last night I was woken by Meep the cat who attacked my leg when I must have turned over, and again later by a bird that Meep had brought in, flying against the windows and needing rescuing from both the cats.

Isn't nature wonderful?

Anyway, I'm off to try for an early night! TTFN:biggrin:

I know a few folk who've "swung" ;) - they reckon everyone should have a go at least once .

No tea I'm afraid - how about a cold Hilldodger?

All the people I know who've been have done it as part of a group, would it be easy to do it on your tod then?

They do it at Buxton 20 ish mile from here and I've got a day off owed to me. Wouldn't want to go solo to a swinging party if that wasn't the proper etiquette.

I am wondering if Arch will have a good knitting pattern for fox gloves.
I have some foxgloves in my garden, but they only have two or three flowers at the top. This will not be enough to keep Mr Fox warm next winter, anyway he might not like the colour, sort of lilacy/pinky.
