I've rebuilt a KMX chassis now, cut out the broke bits and replaced with something round in section.

Ohhh, any pics?

Viz the elephant tea cosy, shame. I though the trunk would be good for the spout.

Guess who sat outside for too long in the sunshine and got a bit sunburnt?:blush::blush::ohmy::blush: Some parts of my legs went brown, but some very red.
No, I am not going to post any photos.

I am not used to this sunshiny stuff obviously. We did not have much last year, and the year before it was definitely too hot to sit out sometimes.

Time for a cooling lager, and perhaps to suggest to Night Train, not to do cooking when he is under the affluence of incohol.

See my thread in Recumbents. It's not pretty but it is functional which is all I need it to be. Still need kingpin bearings, new rear mech and new chain or three just to get it mobile.

Rehersals was fun tonight. Having learnt to throw a girl around last week I got a different one this week, she was a bit heavier. We changed as the girls kept wanting me to work with them because they think I am strong so I ended up with a heavier girl while the more novice of the group got the lighter ones.

Tea anyone?

There was nothing wrong with the eggs, perfect 8 minutes (I think, I can't really remember how I timed them!).

oh, tdr1nka, what have you started? I've got a big ball of grey wool and I'm not afraid to use it...

(It's funny, a while back my local cheap wool shop had plenty of browns and no grey at all, when I was looking for grey some months back for an elephant. Looking for a nice brown this week, for the monkey, they had 3 shades of grey, but very limited brown.)

BTW, Waffles, how is mr Waffles doing? I don't think you ever told us which Elton John song he was dancing to when he did himself an injury. I'm guessing not "I'm Still Standing"...

<ducks while Waffles throws all manner of objects including used chicken bedding>

Sorry....

And that could well be the case! ;)

Ah...

Also, I hate to be technical, but it looks like that elephant is moving both right limbs forward together, then both left, a gait (known as pacing) more commonly associated with giraffes, camels and selected breeds of horse... Not alas, with elephants. At least I think that's what its doing, it's going a bit fast to see clearly!
