Dooin wha?

Just gettin Ms tdr1nka and I ready to go and see Mr. R Hilldodger doin' his stuff at Crystal Palace park's 'Victorian Day'.

Maybe Ms tdr1nka will get to see the joy in a hoop and stick and stop pestering me for her own laptop(pink of course!). If not I could just send her up a chimney?

If she goes up a chimney she could soon buy her own laptop, presumably?

I have a really real doughnut to finish my lunch with.

Thank you Tdr1nka, I am increasing the rate at which I am returning to normality. Might be a long time before I start cycling again, and I do mean "start". I have been on the exercise bikeicle , and gentle swimming, but was not really a proficient cyclist even before my injuries last year.

I'm glad things are getting back to what passes for 'normality' around here. And don't worry, Speicher. We'll have you ready to tackle Mont Ventoux before you know it...

Any tea going?
I'm trying to think what to do today. I was very lazy and didn't get out of bed till 11.30. I was very tired you know. All this cycling is catching up with me. I'm very tempted to go out today but it keeps raining and my legs are still a bit sore after running several days ago (now I know why I started cycling instead..........).
How's everyone else doing? Just skimmed over the last few posts so don't know if I've missed anything exciting!

Whenever I hear 'Matterhorn', I always end up thinking Ice Cream Cornet. Dunno why, a vague association of word sounds I think. Or an obsession with ice cream...

Tdr1nka, when my nephew was born, I sent him a letter of good advice (eat your greens, mummy knows best, that sort of thing). One of the lines was "When your mummy tells you that they used to put naughty boys like you up chimneys, she is quite correct. And don't forget your house has chimneys".

Anyway, enjoy Crystal Palace and say hi to Roger if you talk to him. And tell him I want my CD of pictures....

oooh, I love a good storm. We had a cracker when I was in France, forked lightning, the lot, not quite overhead, but rumbled round the valley for ages. Even made the front of the newspapers the next day...

Come to think of it, aren't you more likely than most to be struck by lightening in your line of work Dayvo? ;)

Most of the time I'm driving some kind of cutting machine which has rubber tyres (or is that just an urban myth about not being earthed?).
If it's really pouring/thundering, then we'll be inside with a cup of co**ee!
