And I'm glad you're well on the mend, Speicher. Ypu've had a rubbishy time, so lets hope things will continue to get better.

Mr Wafflycat is doing remarkably well in himself. So far, he's managed to avoid behaving as if he has man 'flu, which is rather good. He's pottering about on his zimmer frame and I'm acting chauffeur.

Thank TheDoctor. I am taking things very steady at the moment, and making sure that I do not try to fit too much into one day. I am getting plenty of rest, and eating properly (and losing weight very gradually).
Some nice warm sunshiney days would be good.

BTW did you see that I found a hot tub that LOTP might like to put in his garden. It was in one of my posts yesterday morning. It is in the shape of a tea cup, and is carbon neutral.

I certainly wouldn't describe me as light... but I am definitely a 'glass half-full' as opposed to a 'glass half-empty' sort of person

Ah. Now an engineer would just say 'That glass is twice as big as it needs to be!'
Speaking of which, I'm alarmed to see that my glass is completely none-full. I'll have to rectify that. I need a portion of fermented juice of grape.

My oldest M8 was, of course, very understanding.
He is more impressed that I will be attending his stag do in Brighton this weekend. Being the only tea totaller in our 'gang' he understands that I will leave earlier than the rest of them.
He asked how early in the evening I'd be heading back to London to which I replied; 'Early enough that you will be sober enough to say goodbye, but late enough that you'll be too drunk to notice when I've gone.'
