Taking the biscuit
I had the idea of putting helium in bubble wrap & those plastic 'pillows' that things get posted with to protect the contents, that way you could get around the postage by weight thingy.

Only prob being that any parcle left on your doorstep might simply float away!

tdr1nka!

I was interested to read about you being a cycling instructor!

I have a vague plan (of the extreme kind) to (sooner, rather than later) qualify as a cycle mechanic, buy a van, tools and all the necessary equipment and spares, and contact schools in advance and arrange to have a morning and/or afternoon workshop for 10+ pupils at a time, and show them the basics of cleaning/maintaining and fixing bikes. Having just read about the cycling instuctor bit, I'd could teach them cycling skills, too.

How interested do you think schools would be to have this kind of thing available? I'd charge for it, of course; something in the region of £500 a day (I'd be doing it in Sweden most likely, in a few years time!).

*end of pipe dream* ;)

Pecan plait anyone? with the emphasis on one, as I have eaten the other one! The weight management practice nurse was very pleased with my progress, the target is to loose another 5 pounds by 8th August. ;)
And then she will set me another target.:wacko::ohmy:

I might need to buy a whole new wardrobe by the end of the year. The current one is going a bit ricketty on its hinges. :o)

Good evenings!
Just got back from a most enjoyable evening with Tdr1nka, with a little free-form drowning en route. I haven't been so wet since the time I fell in a canal. And I think I may have trenchfoot.
Handy Hint. Mr T does a very good penne carbonara, accompanied by the Mother Of All Mugs of Tea?
'Moff bedwards now. Nighty night.

I think my mother got a teensy weensy bit muddled up. The programme the TV crew were supposed to be recording today, was shown this morning. I had wondered how they would do a live broadcast ;). It was one of those "property" progs, the ones I never usually watch, but I recorded it for her, as it was about a house in her street.
