Landslide

Rare Migrant
Claims to be 13kg. 16" wheel, 6spd derailleur. Simoncc posted a thread about it, someone else reckoned it was similar to bikes4u.com's versions. I had a look at the testimonial by the guy who makes bespoke wicker baskets, seemed pretty comprehensive (including the bad points).

Haha If you buy that bike thru advice on the tea thread, it'll have to be a loose leaf folder!:becool:

Landers I hope you'll visit for a cuppa when you're in London?

Doc' you managed to make my house sound like a rummage sale! Oh, sorry it does!!

Hi Tdr1nka! *clinks mugs*

I wasn't trying to give that impression. I was impressed at the sheer number of bikes and related wheeled goodness in your not-particularly humble abode...

Always room for one more bike!:becool:

Sorry I wasn't around to help find the camera, I find it helpful to remember that things you may have mislaid will always be in the last place that you look!

:raises mug in salute!:

It was spag. bol. for the evening meal at Chez Wafflycat. It was rather flavoursome. Mind you, the bolognese sauce did have 3/4 bottle red wine in it... Nectarine for pud. Wafflycat Minor is doing the dishes and has brought his mother a vodka & orange juice *hic*

Morning!

I need my tea this morning, got a bucket of Earl Grey but noticed I need to buy some more.
I have had my first night 'parenting' a couple of girls, 9 and 14, and will have a 15 year old added to the mix later today. I will have to take them swimming this morning and then to a museum later this afternoon and then try and find time to build a bit more of the set for this music video I am working on.

I am feeling  already, will I make it to Sunday?

I also had an excellent ride in - it's not raining!

Riding my tourer all week this week so as to make sure it's all fettled and settled for its trek around the bottom-left-hand-corner of Ireland. The saddle's stopped creaking, but to compensate, the new front brake blocks are now squealing. I'll sort that out at lunchtime.

I think it may be time for a new rear derailleur, too. It currently has a very old one that struggles to drag the chain to the extremes of the cassette, and the spring is weak.

It is nice not to get wet for a change.

Careful. If you fix all the odd noises, you'll end up worrying whether someone's nicked your bike as you ride... I tested a trailer for Velo Vision and it ran so smoothly I had to keep turning round to check it was still there!

Um, no sign of that envelope... It couldn't have been so wet it dissolved could it?

Tea? anyone...
