I'm not so sure about that. Hunting is the main thing a tiger does, so I think they'd daydream about something they'd like to do, but never actually would.
Whitewater rafting, perhaps.
Or a day out at the seaside.
Candyfloss and a nice jiucy donkey, that sort of thing.

Oh, YOU think that do you? All by your very own self, eh? And not at all after discussing it with ME on the phone.....

Hang gliding, I reckon, and maybe the lady ones dream of a date with Simon le Bon. Does that date me a bit?

Oh! An ant just walked across the desk here. I just lifted the mouse up for it to go under, rather than climb over....

Tea anyone? <passes round very large biskit barrel>

I think that tigers daydream about going to the house of a little girl and having tea with her and her mother.
Then progressing to eating all the food in the house and drinking all the water in the taps before leaving them with the only option of going to the Cafe for dinner when Dad comes home!

I think, from a tiger's POV, a donkey would be a nice juicy snack... At least, I hope that's what he meant...

On R4 this morning there was a piece on British servicemen sending their kids CD's of them reading bedtime stories while they're away on duty.

One of the soldiers was reading 'The Tiger Who Came To Tea' a fave with Miss Tdr1nka but he did the tigers voice all wrong(he sounded more like a bear)..

In our house the tiger is a Terry Thomas/Leslie Phillips tiger.
'Hello,(wiggles eybrows)I'm awfully hungry. Would you mind if I had tea(raises one eyebrow), (ahem)with you?'

Although I got sidetracked when I heard the excerpt form the Very Hungry Caterpillar, thinking it would be fun to have a party where everybody brought an item from the book to eat...

ok, so the menu is, apples, pears, plums, strawberries, oranges, chocolate cake, icecream, gherkin, swiss cheese, salami, lollipops, cherry pie, cup cake, sausage and watermelon.

Sounds like quite a good menu! Could even add in a salad of nice green leaves....
