Have fun Speicher!

We had a fab time yesterday! Thanks to Mr and Miss Tdr1nka for meeting up, entertaining us, and feeding us! We got our trains fine, and were home just after midnight...

We can report that it is possible to get one of the little stunt planes to do a loop within the main room at DoctorTowers... And today, after a slowish start, we went out for a bike ride, and stopped to watch some very cool model aeronautics. And I made it up Weston Hill, so I can't be soooo bad at hills. I need to be hill-ready for next weekend - Northumberland! So now, I'm looking at the forum, and TheDoctor seems to be fettling my bits. At least I assume that's why he's put my bike in the workstand...

We're going to have pancakes for supper...

Wants to see paper plane do loop around pancake in mid flip!

We have had the planes doing loops and crashing down the back of the sofas!

I am a bad, bad woman.

*hangs head in shame*

Due to all the motoring, I have a case of expaning chauffeur's arse.

Nevertheless, this evening was a pig-out-night.

I made my favourite pasta sauce.

ham, some single cream (diluted with a bit of milk), garlic, pepper, parmesan.

When the pasta was cooked I stirred a couple of The Laydeezs' eggs into it. Then the pasta sauce.

OMFG... it was delicious. MrW wanted seconds but I deliberately limited quantities. I can feel my arse get even bigger.

Still, it was an occasional treat. Last time I made that dish was well over a year ago!

Morning!

Are the Laydeez carbo-loading for a big event? Ghent-Wevelgem perhaps?

Mmmm, carbonara....

<drool>

Just back from sunny Stevenage - yes, really, it was lovely down there, it's grey up here. I have a thesis advisory panel meeting at 1.30 - it's one of those things that's meant to be helpful and useful and encouraging, but everyone just regards them with terror... <ulp>

After that, I may swan about here for the afternoon, or I may go home for a nap. TheDoctor wore me out yesterday, taking me up steep hills! Oh, and I need to get bread and milk and all those things you don't have in after a weekend away....

Hoorah for the productive Laydeez!;)
