Anothe stating the obvious observation, this time from the Telegruff. In an article about the Snow Trains, the comment was added "The TGVs run all year round", you don't say.

Yes, I agree, I have had two "Train" holidays, and in the nicest possible way it was quite mad. "Our" train got blocked by a derailed train once, and the next train (in the opposite direction) was not due to stop at that particular station.

So the Station Master phoned Someone in Charge of These Things, and the train was requested to stop. How mad is that? Asking someone to stop a train unscheduledly? to pick up stranded passengers?

Yes, indeed Speicher. My guesses were somewhat along the lines of Landslide's, although I had a different name than Joey. I'm sure you've got some suitably complicated explanation up your sleeve waiting till teatime.
