Da Vinci took me about one go to get through it. I mean, potboilers based on an assorted ragbag of standard Fortean tropes I can handle, but at least give the job to someone who can write. Brown makes Jeffrey Archer look like a literary giant. He's even worse than JK bleedin' Rowling and that takes some doing.

I honestly cannot remember any more about Fluke than I've written above.

Once when thick with a heavy and very snotty flu I chose to read 'The Stand'!
Thankfully I gave up on such books when friends started reading 'The Crabs' and such loik and thats when I started on my HP Lovecraft phase.

Some chums of ours have a plush Chthulu. It's rather splendid and makes a fine hat

Dinah comes home Sunday evening. We're both looking forward to being trampled on and woken up by an invigorated Plume.

My lunch today was crumpet. two

Put them in the combo microwave, 200 watsits heat and high grill, so they were lovely and crispy and toasty.

Mr Warburton knows about crumpet.
