Yes, greatly in need of tea. I have just spent all evening condensising my work experience from 1978 ;). And learning how to get in a big muddle doing bullet points. Also heard from two of the people who I have been waiting all year to hear from. Oxfam can offer me some admin work, if I would like it.

I continue to believe that this County is in an entirely different time speed/space continuum to the rest of the country.

Tea? on page two! This will never do!

So, it's been cold today and it has warranted a fire being set in the hearth. An open fire in the living room is a glorious thing indeed.

Ah yes. Our main source of heating this winter has been the fire in the living room. It's been crackling away since lunchtime and is indeed very nice.

...which is why I'm in a freezing cold kitchen coring kidneys and posting here while Baggy and Dinah hog the sofa and watch CSI.

I am putting my feet up on the sofa.

Today I have walked about four miles or so, does not sound a lot, but there was about 1000 feet of climb and 1000 of descent, and a hot choc nearly at the end. That's a lot for big little me.
