Hi Speicher, hope you had a good Christmas. How comes you go to Burkina Faso to buy your bikes? Wouldn't your local bike shop have been more convenient?

And be careful how much more treacle pud pud you consume tonight, you don't want to have to call the plumber out again do you?

This is a very special type of bike, made from recycled wire in a town called Ouagadougou (I kid you not). They are very small, about 8" in length. I am currently part of a team preparing for a Conference on recycled materials used in art. I wanted to get one of these bikes, to see if the rest of the team think they are suitable for sale at the Conference. We could just buy a few, and point the people in the direction of the seller (in this country).

My "local" bike shop is one of those very high techny racing places. They are very friendly, but considerably out of my league.

Actually, now you mention it, I would like to call the plumber out again. There is a very very tiny leak from the radiator he fitted. But he has to come back anyway in January to do the tiling. This will be an ideal opportunity for him to show me all his tools again.:ohmy::blush::biggrin::laugh::biggrin:

<groan>No more food....
A cup of tea would be nice though.

Speicher - Ermintrude was a babe.

So I am a Potty Hoop, but the spotty cow, Ermintrude, in Magic Roundabout was a Babe.

LOTP did not hear the special tune that was played for him. I had to drive all the way to Lower Wychwood to procure that trumpet player.
AND THEN transcribe the tune into Verbosity.

What is the world coming to? How would you like your tea?
Mr DT was looking at this thread just now, but he has wandered off without saying anything, I wonder why?:blush::biggrin:

Crumbs
So that is what you were doing lurking around late on Wednesday evening, I saw you . You were trying to remove the biskits then, without anyone noticing.

It's a good thing that I still have some Fox's biskits left, but I shall hide them.

It would appear that the little person in the adding up department of this forum, erm cannot add up. My last three posts have been numbered 492.

Will there be causality for sillybrations when I reach 500?
