It is very quiet in here this afternoon. Perhaps people are spending a lot of time getting themselves ready for a party.

Just in case some people come in later, I will get fresh supplies of some people's flavourites. See if I can remember

Col coconut rings
LOTP Christmas cake
Spandex shortbread biscuits, I hope I can get some as nice as his home-made ones. He is busy moving house, so will not have time to make them himself.

For me - must not forget mince pies, and dark Brazilians
any one else whose favourites I should bear in mind?

I could not get Chuffy's favourite - M&S choccy ones, the small ones covered in thick chocolate, but found something very similar in the posh food shop here in Worcs.

Where can I put them that will be safe from DomTyler, he "borrowed" one lot of cakes and biskits and tea, and put them on Ebay. Oh, yes a big cupboard over here, they can go in there and, whooppee, there's a key in the lock, I can lock the cupboard door. I really do not want to run out of peeps' favourite scoffables tonight.

I'm having a cuppa with Mrs B at the mo. I have just helped myself to a piece of cake and Mrs B has grabbed a couple of your Brazilians - ta very much. HNY

I haven't had anything to eat today and I've just turned down stollen...
Anyone knowing me well would assume that I'm either dead or a replicant.

How did you get those, they were in a locked cupboard with all the other cakes and biskits. I hope she left me some dark Brazilians.

What the ? There are some magazines here - from the 1970's.
Arnold "Do you know anything about these?"
Stop whispering Arnold, are you trying to tell me that they belong to LOTP? * looks at magazines * crumbs - the girls in them have only got skimpy clothes on. Lycra had obviously not been invented back then.
Well, oh dear me, if that is the standard we are at, then I shall have to bring in one or two of my favourite posters. I have put them away somewhere safe, but I am sure I will be able to find them eventually - perhaps next year . I will no doubt be having a few drinks later, * makes note to self to find them *.

Time for a cuppa to recover from the shock.
