Alecs, I hope you have put the kids to bed, and had time for a shower.;)

it's me on the laptop! btw, am i right in thinking it's pronounced "spiker" (as in german)? i never like not being able to greet folk correctly, however tricky the name.

I think tomorrow I will get some gingerbread men from the baker's. I am a bit worried tho about the protocol of eating them. Do you bite off his:blush: head straight away? Or do you wait until he has said something? ;)

Or would he be a good shape to dunk, until he goes limp and soggy?

Another thought, why has no-one invented ginger cream flavoured viscounts? Definitely worth trying

Are you completely mad? Ginger Viscounts! xx(

I'm now gonna make myself a double espresso to take the imaginary taste of that vile concoction out of my mouth!

What have you got against White Russians?

You do not want to be rushin' about the place in that heat.

My back is still extremely painful, I think a long lie down on a very warm beach would be just the thing. Also a gentle swim in some warm sea water. You can fetch me some cool drinks, please, and then adjust the parasol, in case it is too sunny. With your local knowledge you can suggest a wonderful meal in a beachside restaurant.
