I am seeking refuge in here. I have agreed with someone on this forum, on a very contentious subject , I expect there will be ramifications and fracas from this occurence. I am hoping no one will notice.

Tea will do nicely thank you. Make it a strong one in the hope that it will transmogrify some strengthiness into me. B)

* closes curtains, and puts on relaxing music *

Tdr1nka will be here soon, and will need somewhere to recover from the excitement and exertions of Ms Tdr1nka's party. He might even need something stronger than Tea .

Ah, Longers, I have been trying to ask you this without upsetting Bonj.

Your location on his map says "Peak District". The Peak District I know of is in Derbyshire. Your location seems to be slightly east of Manchester.
Are there two Peak Districts?

BTW, I prefer my biskits square. But I am quite happy to try yours, thank you.

Just one Peak District Speicher. On the map the green area is the Peak District. I'm not in the District, just outside it and it certainly is east of M/C.

It is very kind of you to take my preferences for square biskits into account, but really, you do not need to nibble them on my account!

I prefer my biskits to be not "pre-nibbled".

I will shortly be making sultana and raisin sponge for pudding. Don't eat too many biccies, you will spoil you appetite! (I usually make treacle, or golden syrup sponge, but treacle tart was last night's pud).

Oh god. Am still hacking away at my article (deadline, tomorrow....) and it's like wading through treacle. I may have to eschew tea and go for my 21yr old rum. Speichs old girl, could you ask Domtyler to slurp his tea more quietly and to stop crunching gingernuts with his mouth open, it's very distracting.

I think you should tell him that yourself, be brave, I know how brave you can be when you are in the "soapbox":ohmy:

I expect the little girlies are now full-up with fizzy pop, extra salty pretend potatoes thingies, sugar-coated swirly choclit flavour watnots etc. It may be a while before they calm down. Or did Ms Tdr1nka attend a function of a more traditonal variety? Have some tea to restore your calmness.
