I could change the subject  and ask Col about his induction this week and how it is going?

Well, a little dissapointing at the moment,i recieved a phonecall on monday teatime, and to cut a long story short, they got everything the wrong way round,i need to have my medical first, before the induction,so im having that tomorrow, then the first induction day is now monday. Now these two are no problem,as i have my liue days sorted for these, but now its changed,im stuck for next week,as there are two days induction ,that i dont know the days for yet,and i have no way of getting the time off, unless i get unpaid leave, and dont hold much hope for that,or going sick.So im a little worried at the moment as what to do about it?
Cheers for asking:smile:

Morning folks. It's a tad windy out there. Any chance of a cup of tea to relax me after the longest, hardest blow job I've come through for a long time?

Tea for me as well please, thank you. Bit early for biskits tho'.

I have been told that I will have to wait three weeks for an appointment with the Back Surgeon. I will ask the GP today, if there is a Osteopath who could see me sooner than that. I have not been out of the house now for a week, should have been on my holiday in Austria this week.

* wonders if there will be some walnut bread or soda bread for toasting for my lunch today *

Mornin' Speicher,

Cup of tea for your cabin fever?
Is there any chance you can get to a private osteopath?
I had to get private physio for my leg as I wasn't offered any on the NHS.

Luckily(?)I was convolesing in high summer and wasn't able to walk for 3 weeks so it didn't much matter that we went without shoes......

Tea and sympathy.

I think that if I want to see an Osteopath, it would be on a private basis.
I am due to speak to my GP later today, and I will ask him to recommend a private Osteopath. At least now I have stopped getting worse, (the rate at which the pain was increasing was very alarming) and the head ache is not so severe.

I cannot lift a kettle very easily, so please make sure the kettle is at least half full, thank you. Oh, and take the biskits out of the wrapper please, as I am not strong enough to wrestle with a paper wrapper. I could, however, manage a pecan plait (if you cut it in half) or a banoffie pie (cut in small slices).

Yes, alright then, but what rank was he demoted from to cook, as it were:blush:?
See what you mean.
IMDB has him described as a former Navy SEAL captain, but I dunno how accurate that is.

Anyone want to try some of my lemon and coriander houmus?

I have solved all your tea and biscuit needs by putting the banoffie pie, pecan plait etc. in a blender with a nice mug of tea to produce your 11's, Sweet Tea Soup!

Hi all.
Network has been down at work all morning, so I've been having to do Real World stuff *gasps*.

Earl Grey anyone?
I can blend some Jaffa Cakes in, if that would help you, Speicher?

No thank you, not Jaffa cakes. You could go and get Yenrod's remaining dark choc digestive biscuits, I have told him that I will take care of them for him.:blush: I really don't mind that there is only half a packet left, as long as it was a large packet to start with.

Just popped out to do some Real World stuff myself, ghastly weather or wot?

Only have to prep the van for Mrs. tdr1nka, tyre pressures, oil, water etc and try fitting the new bike rack to boot, too boot.
Cold rain was so miserable that I have abandoned these jobs in favour of making them more fun by doing them in the dark later!

Builders tea available.
