Hello TheDoctor.

* Takes a doughnut with thanks *

I'm looking into seting up a new web site today and if I do, working on it over the week-end

Have you got plans?

This thread has gone mental. I last posted on it three days ago and since then it has grown by 15 pages

I take it most people use the forum default of 10 posts per page? I'm only on page 70.

Right, kettle's just clicked off, who's having one? (I just got up!)

mmm, doughnuts, not had a good doughnut for ages! See them in Sainsburys and I'm tempted, but the strong will and budget always save me. Mind you, yesterday I got a 'basics' chocolate swiss roll, reduced to clear, for 9p....

Got to get down to the allotment this weekend, because my potatoes and onion sets will be ready for collection at the shop. And if the weather is half decent, some of us might go out for a ride, as The Editor (my new boss) needs to get some modelling shots.

*thinks of Arch doing modeling shots*

*decides has had enough cold showers lately*

Be a bit chilly, won't it? If the weathers OK I'll get out for a ride, if it's not, I might start assembling the carbon uberbike.

Ridage or assemblage, depending on rain / cold / personal inclination. What's the new website? Please tell me it's not tea related...

*concerned at 'Tea?' thread taking over whole of teh interwebs*

Only a little, I was planning to have it for lunch, along with the reduced scotch egg I also got

Doctor, I assure you, if I end up doing any modelling, I'll be well wrapped up. But I don't think I will, he needs people to model a couple of bikes, and they are both for taller folk than me. Luckily, we know a couple who will fit the bill.

Mind you, I suppose if we do model the pannier with the helmet carrier thing that looks like a baby harness (we have a teddy to play the baby), I might get a look in....

Probably displaying my ignorance here, but what magazine are these shots for? I'm sure I'd have noticed you in C+, and I somehow doubt its Cycling Weekly.

I still have the 20 December CW on my desk, and the fateful words 'Climb the Ventoux' are on the front cover. OMFG - what have I let myself in for?

You can't see it on the site just now, but I was cover girl a few issues back, and I crop up most issues, either as a photo or a contributor of a review. And now, I'm Editorial Assistant, which sounds very grand. In fact yesterday, I actually did some copy editing.

We cover the more esoteric (and dare I say useful?) side of cycling, from all over the world - uprights, recumbents, load carriers, hub gears, books....
