I do not think I ever implied or suggested I was much of a cyclist. :blush:
This is such a friendly forum and this thread in particular is usually light-hearted and witty, that beginners cycling type peeps might want to be part of it. :smile:

Nah probs, forgive my misunderstanding.

If it's any consolation(and 'shhhhhh', don't tell anyone else)I am really what's known as a 'utility' cyclist.
I don't ride off road or road race and I don't harbor any desire to own a carbon frame whizzy racer, unless I win the lottery of course!
I just love the simplicity of bicycles and they have proven to be a reliable and cheap form of transport in a city where owning a car is really just a millstone.

Cycling is open to anyone and everyone which CC stands testament to, I have tried other forums but tended to feel patronised.
(Especially a US recumbent forum that couldn't handle my sense of humour and told me off!:smile:)

*slurp*

Renard, I'm shocking shocked. :smile::ohmy:;)

I have done a lot of riding the waves over the years, metaphorically and figuratively, and I know that we have discussed your door knobs at great length, but really, you take the biscuit :blush::smile:

Evening all, how goes it?

*Proffers Talisker to those that like a dram, raises teapot to those that don't*

Just drowning the sorrows following Liverpool's self-destructive display this afternoon...

Better than Liverpool methinks?
(I'm not actually a footy man so that joke shouldn't count for much.)

Can I have a sniff of the bottle Landslide? I'm sworn off the devils grog
but I still love the smell, tis a fine whiskey that.

I'm still damaged though!!! I've got a punctured lung and a thigh embolism and a slightly twisted ankle.

My head is OK though. That's about my 4th crash without a helmet.
