No, because LOTP would not like to have puddles on his carpet. ;)

OMG, this is my first visit to this thread - I did try and start from the beginning but gave up quite early on when I realised that there was another 480 pages to go.
Somebody pass us a cuppa and let me in on any interesting gossip before I go to bed will ya? ;)

Yachi da Plax, good timing, the kettle has just boiled!

Dunno much about gossip mind.
Yeah, probably best to not try and read the thread all the way thru, just jump in and say Hi, as I see you've done.;)

Welcome *hands Plax a fresh cuppa*

Hows your day been then?

Iechyd Da!
Diolch yn fawr iawn am y panad (Thank you very much for the cuppa).

Very uneventful day. Work was as busy as ever, escaped at 7pm (I'm thinking about all the exciting things I can do with the overtime money.....). Saw another dead sheep cycling to the Post Office this afternoon to pay a cheque in (me that is, dead sheep generally don't tend to cycle or pay in cheques). Keep forgetting to charge my lights up, so when I do stay late at work I get half way home and the lights start to dim. Doh! Just as well I have a backup light on my helmet.
About as exciting as it gets really!

I think that should be dunk, as in dunking biskits (please note spelling) in Tea. The only other major bit of protocol, is that the mention of Co**ee, and Tea B*gs is not appreciated by LOTP, and as he started this thread, we bow to his Lordships preferences.:smile:

Duly noted. I don't like the c word anyways - leave a 'orrid after taste in the mouth.

Easily fixed. Go to your acount settings and select 100 posts per page instead of the default 10. You'll only have 48 pages to read then! ;)

I've been using my ayup lights during the day as an extra precaution, only it's then when I really need them in the dark that I get to see they need charging again:rolleyes:. Duh.

Nuvva cuppa before bed?

Still laughing at the dead sheep cycling to the post office, again!
Met a dead sheep once in the Blisworth Tunnel on the Grand Union
canal, luckily I had seen it coming and was able to fend it off with a barge pole and not let it get wrapped around our propeller!

Yes please. A nice strong cuppa please. Any suggestive biskits left or has Renard scompfed them all! ;)

BTW with all this talk of darkness and batteries, does anyone else know that on the 29th March between 8pm and 9pm it is Earth Hour (mostly in Norwich and London). Would it be cheating to turn off all the lights in Tea and put the batteries in torches?

I think that would disturb His Lordship, and he likes to wake up very early to make the first pot of Tea. If you came round to my house and put the dishwasher on at this time of night, I would be very very very cross. ;)

If they are rechargeable batteries, why not?

I'll remember that Earth Hour on the 29th, I'm off to camp with my youth group, might be the perfect time for a bonfire and ghost stories!
