That's its usage. I'm on about its purpose. Purpose and usage are two completely different things. I totally get its usage. But its purpose seems to be to "provide tea". Eh? Tea??!! on the internet? It's about as possible to have a cup of tea 'on the internet' as it is to have sex on the internet.
I'll bugger off again if this 'is a bit too soapbox'. But I think sometimes people spend so long on the internet they forget that they are actually at the end of the day on the internet.

Did you notice, LOTP, that on the 27th March, someone of the nomenclature of Lord of the Pot, joined this forum. Apparently they posted once (in this fred) and have not posted since 28th March.

I was aware of the faint aroma of fish, when s/he posted, but fortunately it did not last long.

The post in question, (Mi Lud ) may have been on the evening of the 27th or 28th, quite late into the evening. The "Pot" may not be a reference to the container of a refreshing and legal beverage.
S/he may be from Holland.
