Mornings!
Off for a ride up the local big hill, then stop off for cake and /or bacon rolls. Tough job, but someone's got to do it.
Kettle's on!

Thought it was time to put my new chain on a spare cycle, so turned it up-side-down... Only to find the rear tyer not only worn out, but showing it's thred in a long part of said tyer. Good job the chain broke

Time for a cuppa. That Heavy Cake of Tdr1nka's sounds scrumptiously.
I will be out this afternoon, with the substantial risk of cakey comestibles, and Tea.

The house, as mentioned yesterday, is comparatively tidy. There is still rolled up carpet in the dining room from the hall and stairs, and a bit of painting to do. It reminds me a bit of taking exams at college two years ago, when eventually they finished, it came as a bit of a "surprise".

If we get some warm weather, it will be nice to sit outside. (Or go swimming in an outdoor pool):angry:

FYI - 'Cat Brains' are walnuts. Coffee and walnut cake

Whilst I am glad for clarification (as are the felines of Chez Wafflycat), I am still in shock that dear Arch considers a cat's brain to be of no more use than a walnut. My felines are suitably offended

Morning all! Tea and rice crispies anyone?
Sounds like the terrible trio (hey any one remember those? Trio's that is) had a good time.
Nice nail Tdr1nka!
Do they have anything else other than cake? I'm not a big fan of sponge.

 NO WAFFLES! Don't blame Arch!! It was me that said occasionally I like to taunt our cat with a walnut by using it only as comparison to the size of her brain. Cat brains remain very useful to cats and are wholly capable of undermining an addled brain like mine!!

*rushes into tea room*

Ye gads, chaps! I'm freezing! Been out in the garage most of the day putting some weather-proofing stuff on the flat pack hen house-type bits to make sure it's properly weather-proofed before putting it together for Les Girls arriving at the weekend. My hands are *freezing* and I have tan lines. Alas the tan lines are not due to proper tanning but are due to my liberal applications of brown weather-proofing-type-stuff...

May I have a large, steaming mug of tea to warm up please?

*shivers*

blue with cold and covered in brown painty-type-stuff is not one of my more attractive looks..

*shivers some more*
