Morning all. Can't be bothered cycling to work today as it's too windy and I just can't face a faceless enemy. So thought I'd pop in here and share my tea and weetabix before I jumped into the cage.

*hands out tea and weetabix*
Go easy on the milk, I'm running out.

Mornings!

I have a big mug of Earl Grey on the go, and I've just finished some yogurt.

@tdr1nka - the tape does appear to reflect:biggrin:. Bear in mind that when it was dark I was two pints of Everards to the good, so my judgment may have been a little impaired:blush:. Fortunately I managed to correct the situation later with some Nuclear Brahn and some Jamesons. Not sure that riding my best bike when under the affluence of inclahol is such a very good idea....

I'm not bad, not bad at all. Just been reading the poem on another fred, hence the new sig line.
Has it been snowing up North then? Just been cold down here. I nearly froze last night...
And tdr1nka, the tape has a somewhat faint glow. I don't think it'll be enough to read a computer by, but it's a bit of extra visibility. Mind you, if they miss the lights, the reflectives and 97 kilos of fat-bastard, I don't think glowy bar tape will save my bacon.

Mmmm, bacon...

How're we all today? I've warmed up again, having been greeted with a snow-covered bike for my commute this morning.

I'm not too bad today thanks.
It was very windy this morning, and as I was going to the car it was snowing. Not very heavy and it wasn't settling - but it was snowing!!!!!!!!
It has cleared up now though and it looking quite bright out.
I'm already feeling guilty for not having cycled in to work so if it is fairly nice later (i.e. no gale force winds) then I may be tempted to go for a little cycle after work. I've taken all the light off my bike now though so can't go out after dark.

I was thinking Mmmm, bacon, before I read your last line!

Well, I had my fry up last night and it was great, even if I could feel my arteries clogging as I cooked...

Dunno about 'up north' - here in York we have bright sun and intermittent cloud. A touch breezy, but...

*imagines Doctor cycling with a glowing snake in each hand*

Well, I suppose it would be an up to date version of the usual iconography of Hercules et al... But it's making my head hurt a bit as a concept...

I was promised a cuppa about half an hour ago, and then the boss went out! Perhaps while the kettle on the woodburning stove boils...

I must admit, I really fancy a fry-up now. The notion of bacon, sausages, eggy bread and maybe some hash browns is playing havoc with my good dietary intentions...Bloody good job there isn't a cooker at work, or I'd barely be able to make it out of the door.
Still, I'll maybe get one on Saturday. If I have to get to Stansted for stupid-o'clock (0530! OMFG...), deal with the torment that is Ryanair, then drive for an hour and a half, I deserve a bit of piggy goodness. Before I then get on a ferry and feel ill...

Anyway. Time for tea! Can I get anyone one?
