The hen house is getting there. I wander about it, touching up the bits that require it, seeing where I can improve security from predators and how to extend the run area once the laydeez settle in to their new home. Even as is, it's considerably better than what they've had in their life up to present.

Looks fab! Lucky chooks!

Motion-sensing machine gun nests should put paid to any predators...

Yoohoooo!!

Anyone here make a decent cup of hot chocolat, please? (I know, sorry, I don't drink Tea <shame>).

Nice and hot, not too milky, thanks.

A Jaffa Cake? Why thank you, don't mind if I do....

anyone else want one?

*hands Jaffa's around in that want-one-no-you-were-too-slow type way that you do with Jaffa Cakes*

I can add some whipped cream and a Flake, if you like?
A bit early for it, but I'm rather partial to hot chocolate with dark rum in it. Very nice on a cold day...

I must admit, I really fancy a fry-up now. The notion of bacon, sausages, eggy bread and maybe some hash browns is playing havoc with my good dietary intentions...Bloody good job there isn't a cooker at work, or I'd barely be able to make it out of the door.
Still, I'll maybe get one on Saturday. If I have to get to Stansted for stupid-o'clock (0530! OMFG...), deal with the torment that is Ryanair, then drive for an hour and a half, I deserve a bit of piggy goodness. Before I then get on a ferry and feel ill...

Anyway. Time for tea! Can I get anyone one?

Ugh, I feel for you already. I once volunteered to be part of an exercise that involved being on a Ferry (Catarmarang or some such spelling) for over 24 hours. I was very very ill. It was awful. I even threw up the sickness tablets. Blah

Cheer Plax! It's only 45 mins or so. I'm usually OK if I keep looking at the land.
Worst one I ever did was going down to Spain one March. It's about 32 hours, and I hated every second. I'm never, ever doing that again.

Get really really drunk! At least you'll have an excuse for heaving your guts up! ;)

BTW, I see you've got a doppelganger:

Pull yourself together Doctor!!
You were here first and we'll always know it's you as you look like samovar
and don't have a space between The and Doctor.
Don't let this start you Gallifrey-ing at the edges.
