Oh! Apparently, it's David Tennant's birthday today. 37. Ideal age...

Bugger. There was me thinking 42 was the ideal age. It's the ideal age for me anyway, if I was 37 I'd be my sister:ohmy:. And I'd therefore have a few kids and a Welsh accent.;)

37 is AN ideal age. There is more than one. 42 is another. Anything between 20 and 65 really...

Oh, I just had my hand on a bit of 114,000 year old mammoth tooth...

Or is it? That's the mystery...

Oh wow.;)
Although you have no way of knowing it's really 114,000 years old, it could have been put there a week last tuesday, and made in a Chinese factory. It's all guesswork. [/bonj]

D'oh!

The tooth is 114,000 years old (at least), not the heffalump...

The mammoth one is more of a mystery. If the dates are right, it comes from a warm period, so it shouldn't be there. The diagnostic features say mammoth, but only DNA, if it can be extracted, will confirm whether it IS mammoth, or really elephant.

If it's mammoth, do you end up with hairy nucleotides?
