If it's mammoth, do you end up with hairy nucleotides?

Apparently, the Mammoth genome has already been published, so if you sat down with a big enough box of As, Ts, Gs, and Cs, and strung them together and bunged a few volts through it...;)

Can you put down your box of letters and that battery please Arch and discover a cure for the common cold instead, or at least a cure for the 'orrible little bug(ger) wot has infected me. Or soon I'll be extinct like your favourite wooly elephant.

*reaches for another cuppa strong stuff *

Drink these:
*Passes over hot honey and lemon with ginger, large bottle of water, hip flask of brown spirit to 26x25's taste*
Wrap yourself up really warm, and go to bed with at leasst 2 duvets - sweat it out.
*Passes over large measure of sympathy*

Can someone pass me another scrabble set and some jump leads? Amateur geneticist at work here.

@ Speicher

Off where?
Tomorrow - Ireland, back to Cape Clear for more building work. Everything you never wanted to know about plasterboard but were forced to find out anyway.
Early May - Mont Ventoux. OMFG.
New job - starting on the 12th at Astrium with the satellites.

A busy but exciting few weeks coming up. Lots of things happening, lots of changes. Rather looking forward to it all.

Is there much plasterboard in the average satellite? I mean how do you hang pictures up inside them, if not?

Well, there's no life support, so no-one to appreciate the pictures, so no point in them being there. I think all the space inside is full of the workings. They're not just up there to look pretty, although that would be enough reason in itself IMHO.
