Hi all! Just checking my mail and stuff, but Oli would like to join in the tea thread. He says:

"; 8u 3 xdjz szvbm nb nn "

which I think you'll all agree is very sensible and more sense that most of what bonj says....

Well, we're off out in a minute to meet a friend for a cup of tea at the Discovery Centre. Or Library as we used to call it. And now Oli's had a taste of typing he wants to do more, so I better get off and shut the lid of the laptop!

Anyway, have some tea for me, and I've left some Heinz biscotti on the table - Well, they are really rich tea biscuits for babies - you have to suck each end until it dissolves and you can gum it to death.

See ya all!

Mmmm, they sound delicious!
<shuffles untouched biscotti into a plant pot>
And have you any idea how hard it is to get sick out of a keyboard?

Yes, it is warm. :smile:I am going to ask LOTP if he has any deck chairs tomorrow and could he please put them on the patio, with some little tables for drinks.
I think it would be pleasant to sit by the swimming pool. Arnold might like to stock up on ice creams, and ice cubes.

If I wear my sunhat and sunglasses, people might not recognise me. xx(

Time for a quick cuppa, before beddy byes.

Ah yes, time to dust off the CC sundeck and break out the loungers!
I've left some factor 15 in the cupboard for the morning.

All this nice weather and I'm itching to get out on the trike again.

Oooh tea! Don't mind if I do! xx(

Evenings!
As a public service, I'd like to advise denizens that the 20 km from Sault up to Chalet Reynard are quite a pleasant 4.5% ride through forests and the like:biggrin:, whereas the top 6 km of Mont Ventoux are steep, shadeless and unremittingly horrid. It's a bleak, desolate, god-forsaken place and the Tom Simpson memorial quite literally had me in tears.

The 26 km descent was quite good though...xx(

Cheers peeps. It's been a tough few days.
However light your bike is, it still isn't easy carrying it in a bag. And as I discovered, during the last stages of a tough climb you're always in need of a gear lower than the lowest one you have...
