Good photo Doctor, hope you didn't use the SUV behind you to get there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heh-heh. No SUV involved. The climb took about 3 hours in total, but I was stopping an awful lot. Several times I had to stick my head in a snowdrift as the only means of cooling off.

Woohoo! well done Doc!

Just got a few minutes before we go out for our Second Walk of the Day, caused in part by Oli's mum forgetting to do something while we were out on the first. If I'm clever, I'll push him into town, and she'll push him back (uphill all the way!) Doc, if you need a further challenge, I recommend cycling up from Winchester town centre to my sister's house.

Oh, Oli says...

"wwwwwwwwwwwwwww hhnnnjnh hb njhjbhh hbbbbb"

I'm sure you all understand that. Does anyone know what "Bwa!" means, he says that a lot....

Well, better dash, Oli is up and awake, so we're off downtown... It's a hard life. Actually, it is, I'm in awe of how my sis manages to stay on top of Oli without a permenant helping hand. Today he discovered he can just about crawl up the step into the kitchen.... Be afraid.....

Won't your sister object to random cyclists dropping in for tea and cakes? Anyway *checks map* I'd not get there and back before this evenings CTC ride. Maybe another day...;)

I dunno, if you said you knew me, she'd probably just think "oh, another of her crazy friends"....

And you could help with Oli. On our walk we passed a shop selling ice lollies, so Oli had his first taste of Mr Man raspberry lolly, and now he's on a bit of a sugar rush... We're thinking when his dad gets home, we might just sneak out...

<exits quietly on tip toe...>

Came across some fantastically bad roads in the cotswolds it was mtb land dont think a car had bothered with it for years and I came across one dead green moving fox with a smell you cant describe.
Was rather hot hit the wall at one point but after a bit of a sit down maneged it back legs feel a bit achy.

Aaaarrrgggggg ZOMBIE FOXES IN THE COTSWOLDS!!

Arch, bwa, roughly translated kinda sorta tends to mean, 'that', 'what is this/that?' or 'procure and bring to me'.

'sfunny as TheDoc has just done a climb that eclipses any I have tried, I realise tho having cycled through the Cotswolds on a hack bike, I feel I might come close if I were to add together all the B road gradients from Bath to Cheltenham?

Tea, tea, for Gawds sake tea!

I have some Typhoo tea, a bottle of Pinot Grigio Blush wine and a tub of Ben and Jerry's Strawberry cake type flavour ice cream

Who's for a bit?

I also have chocolate flakes for the ice cream.

I'm not quite sure what Typhoo is doing in ice cream with strawberries, but yes please I would like some.

Do, however, be very careful with the chocolate flakes when Lord of the Teapot is around. He recently got very muddled up as to whether an ice cream cornet with a choc flake in it is a "99" or a "69", and he ended up inventing the the "96".;)
