Hello all! Bit late arriving this morning, been for my pre-holiday haircut. Apologies for shedding cut bits all over the carpet.
Apparently, I'm a granny. The canary I was looking after last week, the one we found on the recycling round, went to join an aviary on Friday and found a mate already and laid eggs! Well, now we know it was a girl. Mkaes me wonder what was in that Trill I bought it...
No stray birds yesterday, but one house did have a box which betrayed the fact that the inhabitants had drunk 6 gallons of Lambrini in a week...
*shudder*
No really, apparently their box contained about the same last week too....
I need tea, just thinking about it!

When it came to moving out of a shared house once, we had an out house where we had stored all our empty wine bottles and beer cans for something close to 9 months.
We knew we were on a short contract so figured that when we hired a van to move everyone we would do the recycling in one go as part of tidying the house.
Imagine the looks on peoples faces when we rolled up with the van at the local Safeways and started to unload the bottles and cans.
It probably didn't help that the four of us were saying quite loudly, 'that was one hell of a party last night, wasn't it!'.

That's a sweetie, Arch.Plenty of cakey bits on the go. Made a ginormous fruit cake and some jam tarts with a coconut topping.
