Morning all! Morning superheroes of the tea room!

Tea on the go. Help yourself from that freshly brewed pot over there. Toast on.

Chooks fed, cats fed, husband fed, about to wake son as he wants to get his body clock back to normality (he has no problem with me getting him up, as he wants to get back to normality..). I haven't fed myself yet.

Found Francis in the garden swatting his paws at the newly emerging lettuce seedlings... I threatened him with being made into a fur mitten and he was not amused.

Got a new job for the Summer.

It does mean that I will have to do 30 miles per day on the bike.

Well, cookiemonster, with all that cycling on a daily basis, you're going to be needing to keep your strength up. May I suggest a lovingly produced fresh egg?

10.21 this morning - don't get much fresher than this! Egg laid as it is meant to be, from a much loved hen, free to wander into the straw as and when she wants

One of my spikey things is in bloom. Spikey things are one of the few items of vegetation I manage not to kill off...

This one has a very strong scent: similar to a lily.

Lovely flowers there waffles, I now imagine you live in a 'Disney' cottage and small have birds and animals alight upon your shoulders everytime you leave the house!

Since I took the previous pics, two flower buds which were entirely closed at that time have now opened. To think that by tomorrow every one of them will be withering away...
