Balancing hot tea pots like that is a bit dangerous, but I see you've got a handle on it!

Now this is what you call free-range. Cathode in search of something without a backbone and in possession of at least six legs, to much upon

Moving a bit better this morning afternoon. The healing process seems to be taking up a lot of energy tho, so I'm sleeping rather more than ususal. Seeing my dad today (my mum's already been over to visit) he's over in Sheffield for a conference, so I'll reassure him I'm doing OK before he and my mum head off to France for their hols.

Yeah, I know what you mean, the healing process is often more frustrating and agonising than the accident itself. The best bet is to move as much as you can without pushing it as you can suffer more later from muscle wastage brought on by the lack of exercise. After an accident like this sleep is very good BTW.

I was off my leg for a month with my knee injury but I would have been better off using it a bit more everyday as the weakness in my leg that I had when I became mobile again was down to lack of exercise rather than the injury itself!

The NHS didn't offer any aftercare or advice and it was only when I went to see an ostiopath that I found I should have been up and about in two weeks, best £40 I ever spent as I thought I'd not be comfortable on an upwrong ever again!

Take your time and have a nice cup of tea, count your blessings and start dreaming of that new bike.

Blessings have been counted and re-counted many a time!
The leg takes my weight fine for gentle walking, it's just the muscles hurting if I bend my knee. Got some lovely green/yellow bruising coming through now - my girlfriend suggested I wear shorts to show it off! Thankfully I think it's a bit chilly for that today!

Put those legs away unless you have pictures of the bruises!

I once took a long slide on my side on tarmac after hitting a patch of derv, and I had a bruise on my hip that really looked like an old 'British Empire' map of Africa with all the countries in different colours. Wished I taken a picture of it now!
