You sound in fine 'fettle' today!

Not bad actually, only failed on one aspect - I need another brake cable as I cut the wrong end off one ;)

I've had a test ride and it all seems very nice.

Here's how it looks now.

And you get a bonus village idiot thrown in

Kettles on and there's a spare cherry and almond tart (for the next five minutes only).

Damn, I guess I missed out on the tart didn't I?!

Tea Up!
That's a fine lookin' bike BTW, the new wheels are dead sexy!
*slurp*

Your frame is also the regulation silver as is my dear old 'clarty hack', which all going well will be getting new BB, rings, chain, cassette and derailiers next month!

Your cat is the spit of a cat my friend used to have!
Sadly departed now, his name was Rambo but he is immortalised by another friend who recorded Rambo purring and worked the sound into the score for the British Horror film 'The Descent'!

Just a few more pics of Ireland for ya!
The last few days I went to mow a meadow, we have friends coming to camp over the summer so there was several sq. meters of marsh grass to hack away at........

The cats are still having a high old time, Tuesday has been here before and is taking it in her stride, Meep has really come into her own and is loving being able to stalk flies in the long grass and sunbathe on the decking!

I had thought I'd be fine without a bike for a month, not that it isn't a wonderful part of the country to go cycling in and many do, imagine how frustrated I was when I saw this parked outside of a B&B in our local village!!

Anyway, must dash as there be building work to undertake,
Slainte, T

A recumbent/conventional tandem, never seen one of them before. I take it you would ride it conventionally if one up and the recumbent has no steering or brake controls ?

Whatever it is, it looks expensive!

The bent/upwrong is a Hase Pino, I've seen pictures but never seen one in the 'flesh', as it were. You won't see much change from £3k!!!

You're quite right Linf, the front seat is just a hold on tight and pedal like fury affair while all the braking and steerage is done from the rear.

It lacks a certain summink that you get with a DF tandem but it does look rather fun!!

I can't tell you how frustrating it is to not have a bike here in Ireland but as Mrs. tdr1nka points out I have enough work to do without disappearing for rides everyday.:ohmy::smile:

I rode one at a try out show some years ago. You can ride them solo, and the front chainset has a freewheel. Not sure I'd spend £3k on one though...

Tis' a bit pricey to say the least, but I'd love one to take Ms tdr1nka to school on! It'd be a great utility bike for here in Ireland and good again for Ms tdr1nka, and Mrs. tdr1nka for that matter considering some of the hills round here. ;)

Earl Grey anyone?
