Yes, Tea thank you.

I have been very busy in the garden this afternoon - testing out my sun bed to see that it is comfortable enough on the rare afternoons for sitting in the sun. Leo, the cat has been "chattering" to the birdies, and squashing a plant or three, then he decided to lie on the table instead.

Taking the biscuit
Not that long in ourselves after going to town to buy a new mattress and more timber for the build. Strong westerly winds tried at one point to blow everything off the roof of the tea van but a quick stop to tighten all the straps sorted that out.

Looking forward to a night on a proper mattress after two weeks sleeping on the horrible thin foam ones that came with the caravan.

Tea?

Hmmmph - a flying bedstead? Any broomsticks involved? ;)

Enjoy your new mattress -you deserve a good kip.

And yes please - a nice big mug full - no milk no sugar

I have a friend who is banned from the USA for trying to take khat into the country!

Dayvo, I've been meaning to ask, when you talk about your line of work I get an image, and I apologise profusely for this, of Bill Murray in 'Caddyshack'.
Please reassure me you do not have to outsmart gophers and/but do you have any burrowing monsters to deal with in your day to day?

Heres a nice cup of tea to be getting along with...

No, not gophers, just golfers!

No, I'm not quite as anal (retentive) as Bill Murray!
Funnily enough, he was at a pro-am celebrity golf tournament in Stockholm last summer and a mate of mine played with him in a four-ball. After the game and following piss-up he was arrested for drink-driving!

No, I'm 'quite' normal, as it 'appens! ;)

And thanks for the tea! Got any brandy to go with it?

It's been an active week so far. Nearly 70 miles on Sunday, a 20 mile club run last night, 15 miles to work and back today, and a club run and cycling to work and back tomorrow.
I need some tea just thinking about that lot...
