He's fitter than I am, I know that much. I wasn't hanging about on Sunday's ride, but Paulus was way faster than me.
@ Paulus, what time did you finish the ride?
I was back about 2:55, after hanging around at Hexton for 35 minutes hoovering up scones and carrot cake.

Yes I am Spiecher. It was a good ride on sunday Doc. I wasted a lot of time waiting for a friend of mine who is not used to longish distances, so I spent nearly 50 mins at the various checkpoints. in real terms I did the ride in 4.35, but i didn't get back to the start until 3.30. Next week is the verulum c.c. from St. Albans, Iv'e signed up for the 64mile route.
