Note you havn't got a rhyming place name for Billericay?

One might almost say Billericay - Kirkcudbright (if one wanted to stretch the rhyme a little) I love the way place names can rhyme without looking alike!

Dagenham - Birmingham? Or just Siam? (a bit old fashioned now)

Ahem... returning to tdr1nka's question, it's a long story...

Where are you flying into and going?

I'm combining my trip with the delivery of a consignment of ducks, geese and swans. I've a mate who breeds them, and they're going to a bloke in Ireland who wants them. I get a free trip if I drive them over.

So I'm going from Liverpool to Dublin by ferry, then driving onto the midlands, where Mrs Uncle Phil is working; Banagher, to be precise. Then on either Friday or Saturday morning, we're heading for the Aran Islands. The plan is to leave the car on the mainland and take our bikes and stuff over.

We'll be camping unless it's horrible.

Let me get this right, you're getting to Ireland by means of some fowl trade?

If it's any help the skies have now cleared and we have some radiant sunshine after a day of constant rain!

I use Windfinder for localised weather forecasts btw.

Hope the weather holds out for some camping for ya!

Morning all. I now have a festering leg. Got bitten by a mozzie yesterday and it *itches*(understatement) and is red & blister in the middle. My usual reaction to bites even when on the antihistamines.. Bah!
