I'm sure we all know which one you mean Arch, and I'm equally sure I know which mental image a certain other denizen of Tea? would opt for! ;)

I'm sure I don't know who (or what) you mean. I will admit to feeling a bit flustered recently when I passed a sign that said "Hot Waffles".
"Oh," I thought. "They've obviously met her..."

Well, the end of another hard afternoon wastreling. Still, the work starts next week when I get the laptop back. I ought to go home via Sainsburys, but I reckon I have enough stuff in to make supper tonight, so I might not bother... That would mean I'd need a salad for lunch tomorrow, as I'm out of bread...

What an exciting life I lead...

Evenings! Just got in from a most pleasant ride with the local CTC. Wednesday evening rides are specially good - 20-ish miles at a civilised pace, via a country pub.Tonight's pub was a mere mile uphill from DoctorTowers.
And a few peeps complimented the stealth look of the Carbon Uberbike. Which was nice.

Evening. Not long back after spending the day ferrying MrW about various parts of Merrie England and I'm shattered... and my leg I would happily gnaw off as it is itching so much - but I am resisting despite the provocation. My hand is healing but my arm still hurts. And I'm tired. But the offspring has made me a mug of tea.

And I miss being out on my bike. A lot.

Sounds like you're still a bit up against it there Waffles. Have a little something in the tea? And can you not get out on Norbert over the weekend, maybe?

If it's any consolation Wafflycat, I've been in Ireland, sans velo, for six weeks of the last two months and I'm getting very twitchy.

To make matters worse whenever we've gone to the nearest town we pass a lot of cycle tourists, I'm itching to get out on the roads round here.

More tea?

Ta guys. Sadly it seems that weekends are for catching up on the stuff that needs to be done when I'm out ferrying MrW about - laundry... food shopping... mowing the lawn... vaccuuming.. Bah!

Waffles,
I trust Mr Waffles has been banned from dancing... I mean, making it difficult for you to ride your bike for ages? That's 'unreasonable behavior' in anyones book. Hope he's better soon. And I hope you are too...
