Thought of you this morning when I snatched a glance at my two week old Observer travel bit. (Slow reader - even slower traveller)
Anyway, there was this article which made me think of all things nice and O'homey...

Within this core section also, there is an account of a Scottish coast to coast tour - sounds good.

I'll shut the door on my way out, here's my cup...

I've just had perhaps the least inspiring lunch ever. Discovered that my reduced organic pita bread had gone mouldy, so had to resort to ryvita - two sandwiched with pate, and two with cream cheese. Of course, spreading ryvita before you want to eat them removes all the crunch, so it was like eating cardboard. And I was so hungry, for some reason, I have to give in and have lunch at 11.30!

Thank goodness for the redeeming qualities of chocolate digestive biscuits, of which I also had two. And tea...

Tea? anyone?

Tea please.

I had a sales call allegedly from Carphone Warehouse. The chap was very pleasent and advised me on my phone upgrade options and arranged for a later call for me to select a new phone. All well and good so far. Then he asked for my post code for ID. I asked what info they had on me for ID and...pause...
He said 'T*at!'

I said 'Sorry?'

'T*at!'

'Excuse me'

'T*at!'

'Could you put me through to your supervisor please?'

'Prick!'

Then he hung up. I phoned Carphone Warehouse and reported him. They record all their calls and know who made the call.
Unemployment has just gone up again then.

Chears for the tea, Arch. Just waiting around polishing at the mo. M is coming over and we're going out. First time she's come to my house, I've not even got beyond the end of her road yet. Maybe that will change as I am driving her home tonight. She told her parents about me, guess it makes me real and not just a virtual bf.

Oooh, good for you. It's a nice feeling when it all starts to seem real, isn't it?

M was going to stay the night but I talked her out of it. A bit soon given her 18 year old doesn't know about me. It could lead to awkward questions for her knowing what teenage boys are like.
'Where where you last night?'
'Who were you with?'
'How long have you known him?'
'So where did you sleep then?'
'Euch! That's disgusting at your age!'
