That's terrible.

Can I have hers then? Fish and chips, obviously. I don't want nits - even second-hand ones.

tea, please. Just got back from another 200 mile drive. Fed the hens, cleaned the run & put the hens to bed. Fed the cats. I am cream crackered and I need to be out on my bike but have no time right now.

Ta. I know. I'll just be glad when MrW is fully mobile again. Bless him, he's not been too bad considering he's got a leg in plaster but the last few days it's been getting to him and he's been a grumpy sod about everything but the leg in plaster...

Having that sort of injury is a bit of an enbuggerance. I've had some long-lasting things and there always comes a time when you think it's never going to get better.
But it does.
Are you on driving duty tomorrow?

I can fully understand the frustration Waffles, I had 4 weeks of immobility when I took out my knee, like Mr. W it was caused by a stupid accident which seems to make it all the more frustrating.

Oh yes, more driving both Saturday and Sunday. Smaller amounts but still some driving. Plus a shedload of housework to catch up on... I plan to spend some time communing with hens tomorrow. I think that me communing with the hens is similar to a bloke taking refuge in the shed. I need a shed...
