Funnily enough, someone and I were talking earlier and discussing the possibility of making some sort of potato based crispy snack food in the shape of donuts, but hollow inside if you know what I mean. Then we moved on to the viability of said shape in pasta form, but reckoned it would be bound to leak when cooking and fill up with water, but never with sauce.

So we gave up on that idea.

You've still got a month before they start actually colliding particles and possibly creating black holes.

In spite of how the media have been debating the LHC being the doomsday device, all they did at CERN today was turn it on and test that the beams worked properly:rolleyes:.

Now I feel think, I only realised that this morning myself...

Still, I got to listen to Torchwood as a Radio 4 play this afternoon. At one point Ianto and Gwen had to ride bikes round the loop, and I note they had to be very squeaky bikes, so as to be audible on th radio. And Ianto's had a bell.

I heard a bit of it, I had to go out for milk and bread. Forgot the damn cheese though!;)

The Torchwood thing is going to be available as a podcast soon I believe. If all else fails I taped it, for the benefit of a certain time traveller....

Evening all...

The folder's all set for tomorrow's trip to the big smoke. Headset adjusted, tyres pumped, and hi-viz yellow stickers liberally applied! ;)

Just need to check on the weather forecasts to see how much I need to take in the way of spare clothes - I'm trying to dress at least vaguely smartly (as opposed to my usual office uniform of shorts and random retro cycling tops).
