Evening! Have a good weekend? How is the Arch?

I'm having a chilled glass of fermented juice of grape at the moment, but if you put the kettle on, I wouldn't say no to a cup of tea - as long as it's not Earl Grey..

The weather has been *glorious* here today and I have been suffering bicycle withdrawal symptoms very badly today. On the other hand, I have had fun with hens.

I've just started my first assessment for my Management and Leadership module. I'm just re-read it and it is utter mince!
Still, I have a month to complete it.

On the up-side, my wife had a Virgin V party last night (didn't leave until 3.30 so a bit tired) but there's four half empty bottles of wine in the fridge. Finished the pink cava and onto the shiraz rose.

I thought you said yesterday that it was an Ann Summers party - has your wife explained the difference yet?

The Arch is very well thank you, although possibly suffering from a surfeit of cake. Some cycling has been done and a little light shopping. And some consumption of fermented grape and grain products...

I'd love to offer some tea, but the quality of leafy beverages on the trains is not high. I'd stick with the grapey goodness were I you.

Weather has been OK up here in the frozen North too. There was some minor floodage earlier in the week, as I discovered when the path disappeared under a small slick of smelly mud.

That reminds me of an essay I wrote at University last year. Left it overnight to hand in next day. Before I handed it in, I re-read it and part of it sounded as if it had been written by Yoda.:blush:

Whatever! The girl doing the thing didn't appreciate being introduced as "the stripper" when she arrived!

There's a lot to be said for quiet sometimes!
I could do with a quiet relaxing time next weekend, but I somehow doubt it's going to happen...
