I've had a bad shift at work. What a rotten way to end my employment there. Not long home and I've had nothing to eat yet, not had the opportunity as the shift was so bad. I had made a brew at 5pm and finally took the last slurp at 9.30pm!

It will have to be cereal again. And I will have to be up early so it will be both breakfast and dinner with a sort of nap during it.

I am requiring of tea. It's a bad start to the day and I need tea.

To put it simply, I've just had a phonecall verging on the rude, simply because I answered the phone rather than my husband. He couldn't answer as he was sitting on the loo at the time. Heaven forfend. Cue nasty person on other end of phone line who seemed to think that because my other half was not the one answering, I'm some kind of potential criminal! Bah! Moron.

I need tea. I do not need twits like the one at the end of the phone.

Edit: I find out it was not a member of the public, but one of MrW's so-called colleagues that was so damn nasty. I really, really am not prepared to put up with that.

If she calls back, point out that you are younger, prettier and have nicer bosoms. She will retreat, crushed and weeping.

Chuffy, I like your style!;)

Afternoon all! We've had a jolly good weekend, although, as the Doc says, I was suffering a little from hyper-glycemia due to overconsumption of battenberg cake. I'll be putting a post up shortly which will explain the surfeit of pink and yellow sugaryness...

Tea? anyone?

No....

Finally got round to bodging a fix at the weekend, with a tiny tiewrap...

Oh! Meant to ask, are you going to Wooler this year?

I am probably going to Wooler, Mrs Uncle Phil probably won't make it as she'll be organising ornithologo ornth orinoth birdwatchers in Ireland.

This means that you may have to put up with me singing if you want me to displace Ken for a bit.
