I just went and looked, aw, cute...
Just about to get up and go for brekkie, then out to forage for lunchables and thence to hire bikes for the day and ride along the lake.
Highlights of yesterday included a very good croque monsieur, and tartiflette for dinner, and seeing a swan show off flying under one bridge and over the next - although it's grace and majesty were somewhat diminished when it had to slam the brakes on to avoid being hit by a van...

*staggers in under 4.5 metric shedloads of Tea?*
France lives up to expectations so far - the mountains are mountainous, the lake gleams wetly and the souvenir shops are full of the most incredibly bad tat.
The food and wine is good though. Was there ever a better drink for a cool evening than mulled wine?
