The actress that played K'Ehleyr also played a female Q in Voyager and had a part in an episode of "Enterprise"

I have obviously failed the first parameter of being a Star Trek fan.
Have only just discovered the Startrek dot com site.

My spelling will now improve.

Fascinating to see how they really  look, especially Michael Born aka Worf.:biggrin::biggrin: He obviously wears a huge amount of make-up. And I now know how to spell Chakotay.

I have the Starfleet Academy Training Manual.. The technical specifications of the NCC 1701-D.. A tape of 'Conversational Klingon' which is an essential tool in preparation for a holiday on the Klingon homeworld..

... amongst other things...

oh dear :biggrin::smile:

I was shaking the tin for the Poppy Appeal this afternoon. I got propositioned! A bloke asked if I was married. I said yes. He looked all sad and said that he was going to ask me out! Good grief! He looked younger than me! And I was stood there all bare-faced (no make up) layers of outdoor wear for the cold - not a good look. But I thanked him for the compliment and wished him well. I am, however, gobsmacked.

Heheheheheheheeee.

Alas, he was not my type. But I was polite as it's not everyday one gets such a compliment.

Waffles and Arch you may be able to help with a question about cooking please.

I made a Rogan Josh chicken sort of meal last night. It turned out so hot that I put in some natural yoghurt and extra tomatoes towards the end to lower the spiciness a bit. This means I have lots of sauce left over. As there is natural yoghurt in it, can it be reheated? There would still be some left over to make some soup with, should I add some potatoes and lentils do you think, or just potatoes? Ie cook the potatoes and add them in large chunks.

If I freeze some of it, without re-heating it, will the yoghurt "split" or whatever you call it and spoil the sauce.

Btw have you read my "Bedtime" thread, it is not smutty really.

Hmm. I'd tend to say, reheat or freeze it whatever, because the worse thing is, the yoghurt might split and give it a slightly funny texture, but it won't poison you or anything, as long as its properly heated. Soup might be good - you could probably get away with just the potato I think.... Cook thm, add them in and give it all a bit of a mashing, or blending if you prefer...

Bear in mind though, I'm a student (and glutton) and will eat all sorts of leftovers that aren't top notch in terms of quality or presentation, but prefectly edible...

Speicher. Jadzia is the best of your and wafflycat's suggestions. Perhaps Tasha. Not so keen on the other ones like Kes ;). Ro Laren was also a female character regular and don't forget T'Pol . As for curry, it is fine reheated with Yoghurt. Not sure about this splitting business.

Thank you Arch, yes it is too good to waste. I think potatoes would thicken it up a bit, without spoiling the taste too much. I have some proper farmhouse bread to go with it, for tomorrow after Pilates, when I do not want anything too heavy.

If it splits, I will know next time to take some sauce out before calming it down with yoghurt.

I think, even if it splits a bit, the potato might help to hold it together....

I agree with you there, Marinyork. Tasha or Jadzia, short but unusual.
I did not like Kes, because it reminds me about that film with the little boy and his pet bird, which I found to be a very sad film. Not sure about T'pol. May have to wait until she has been here a few days, then decide.
I will be seeing her again on Thursday, she is temporarily booked to me until then.
