I know of a longer one on another forum used mostly by women.
It is in relationships and is based around one person's, and everyone elses, attempts at internet dating. Currently at 14579 posts started August 2006.

Tea started in Sept 2007 and so is the faster growing one.

Ironic then, that this thread has seen the birth and death of a whole relationship! (oh, well, two actually, but only one between actual members of the thread... As far as we know...)

I wonder if we should publish it - if you tried to read it on one go, it might be a bit James Joyce-Ulysses-ish.

Mmm, tea, I think it's time for me to put the kettle on for me and the boss.

That sounds like a really good idea. We could entitle it "The Secret Gossip of Cycling Tea Drinkers" OK maybe that needs some work!!!!

While I'm here, wasn't it a splendid morning this morning? Well, it was for me.

I managed to wake up at a reasonable time, so I wasn't rushed. The dog and I did the longer walk this morning, and saw a bran wol hunting over a sheep pasture (wonder if it's one of the ones Mrs Uncle Phil and I ringed as fluffy white chicks in the summer?), and then heard a great spotty woodpecker drumming. Either that or someone briefly practicing the castanets.

Later, cycling to work, a mist had formed over the fields, rolling across the roads. Just stunning with the early sun shining on it. I even had to put my sunglasses on. And it was crisp, but not icy cold. Just about as good as one could hope a November morning could be.

And now it's tea break time. Chocolate malted milk, anyone?

Ahem..

*does a twirl*

No-one has noticed. I am.. well.. hurt.. wounded to my core of being.

*silent tear rolls down cheek*

I am not in full biohazard suit today. I am biohazard suit-lite. Only the face mask & respirator today.

Had my nest night's sleep for a fortnight last night. I was only woken a couple oftimes by coughing, wheezing & sneezing.

I think I may be on the mend! Hurrah!
