Merry Christmas to everyone on this thread. ;)

I will try and pop in occassionnally, but perhaps not as often as usual over the Festivities. I may need fortification ;) with Tea, or Tea containing a stronger element, and some chocs or choc biskits.

Chuffy, I know that it is not protocol to cross thread. But I think the current last line in your sig -

"presumptious and tactless to assume he has a sense of humour" sums him up brilliantly. ;) I am too tired at this time of night, to summon up the bravery to say so in the relevant thread.

Ah. No festive excitement here I'm afraid. But we're on hodilay and have our own body weight in meat, cheese and cream to get through. ;)
Later today I will be making a stollen as large as Chris Hoy's left thigh.

I see, its called a hodilay now.;) Why is that wonders I?

You need a hod to carry all the food?
You need a lay down afterwards because you've eaten so much
You just need a lay down?

Kettle's on Helen, I need a brew too having spent much of today making an oak mounting for my new satnav for the car. I didn't like the plastic suction cup and wanted a more permanent mounting that didn't look like a savnav cradle.
