Excuse me :blush: wearing no clothes avatar, for some reason I cannot find the old non-seasonal wol.

Has he flown over to Uncle Phil's do you think? or to somewhere warmer?
A virtual reward for anyone who can find him. ;)

Ah, tea. Splendid.

A dusting of snow in York-ish this morning. Dug out my yellow peril for the ride to work. Tyres are too soft, handlebars too low...

And my neck's sore. I've pulled a muscle in the bit that forms a sort of buttress between my neck and shoulder and it's been giving me trouble all week. What's good for sore necks, apart from Mrs Uncle Phil rubbing it with embrocation, and tea? (Note careful use of comma there).

No snow down my road, but I wasn't up until 8.30ish, maybe it had melted....

With regard to your neck, last year I gave my mum one of those wheat and lavender filled pillow things, it's like a bean bag in a sausage shape, you warm them in a microwave and drape over any aching areas. Would something like that be any good? She's found it comforting on a bad back. I'm not sure how you'd go about making one, but I've seen them a lot in shops (I think I got it at the National Trust shop). It you could balance it, a hot water bottle might do....

Also, I've remembered that a couple of Tea denizens wanted to see my finished knitted Ark... Here 'tis:

I've still got animals to make - camels, snakes, chimps, toucans and pandas, and that's before I start adapting the patterns to make other animals. The white blob on the roof is a dove BTW.

Shall I put the kettle on? And I must just do and change my avatar....

Arch, I am cognisant of the fact that your knitting needles are not sonic ones, and therefore not capable of creating time travelling knitted creatures. However, I am a teensy bit concerned about what the Zebras are doing with the Lions. The larger male? zebra seems very interested in the female lion, and the smaller female? zebra seems interested in the male lion. Yes I know they all have special names in accordance with their gender, but I am not a biologist. Leobras? Zebions?

I am sure that given time, he will return . I think he flew off because he has a decoration that should be taken down by tomorrow. He may well return when he gets hungry. Either that, or he will be replaced, if I can alter his replacement to fit the square!

Ah, I think that is just an effect of foreshortening, but I see what you mean...

The zebras are the same size BTW. The elephants should be, but I got the needle size wrong for the bigger one. Luckily, that's the one I gave tusks to, although really they look like Africans, so they should both have tusks... I care too much for my own good sometimes.

The camels I have a pattern for are Dromedaries, and I'm wondering if I can adapt it to make Bactrians as well...

Looks like someone has stuck a red-hot poker somewhere where red-hot poker's should go by his expression though
