Amazingly I was awake at 8.30 (watching Richard Hammond's Blast Lab, I'm afraid - I didn't wake up on purpose to do that, honest),, so I had my couple of ryvita at 9ish...

Need to get bread on the way home...

Have you tried hot Ribena? Lovely in this sort of weather.

Hot ribena is good, I have some fruit teas at work and it's not too dissimilar.

Hot orange gives me asthma though

This morning there's been a squirrel in the garden trying to raid nuts from the bird feeders. It wraps itself around the feeder and tries to gnaw through the wire to get to the nuts. Horrid thing! If I knew how to remove it from this mortal plane I would, and then fry it in garlic butter..

Biccies - alas I have none in the house - unless I bake later today. Hmmm.. I could make some 'melting moments' and then some rock buns.

Could you paint the bird feeder wire with that "stop biting your fingernails" stuff?

I haven't made a cake for ages either... I could do a fruit cake, or perhaps a coconut sponge with a jam middle..

I could try putting chili seeds in there. Apparently squirrels don't like chili but it doesn't bother the birds
