Is that a carrot in his pocket or is he just pleased to see you?

That is a carrot, also note the packet of seeds in his other pocket. I won him in a Raffle many years ago. The Clown was languishing in a Charity shop, I refused to pay the asking price of £3.00, and told them they would have to accept £7.;)

I suffer from a terminal case of coulrophobia. A knitted one is possibly worse.

What little I could squeeze from the erstwhile copper is that guns are in somewhere involved.

I really don't like living here any more.
Baggy left Lahndahn to move to Devon the evening before the bombings in 2005. I was very relieved...

Do you have to live there?

Miss tdr1nka's Mum(my Ex)is dead set on staying in London for the foreseeable future, I'm here so I get to see my little pixie grow up.
I'd miss my friends enormously but otherwise I'd be a long, long way away from here if I had a choice.
The real irony is that Miss tdr1nka would absolutely love to move to somewhere more rural and less noisy.

Ah. It's easy to say 'just move' but much harder in Real Life (tm). I think Baggy found it quite a wrench, despite being free of sproggly entanglements.

'My little pixie', you great soft jessie! You're even soppier than Noodley!
I did once call Dinah 'my little Princess' but it was only in jest...

I went through London on the underground the day before the bombings on my way back from watching Le Tour. First time I'd been in years. It's still grim.

May I suggest Norfolk?

Very flat, Norfolk.

A small proportion is. Mountainous it isn't. But it is *glorious* cycling country as it has a myriad of country lanes where you can cycle and cycle and cycle and often meet very little motorised traffic for much of the time. It also confuses some folk who come here to cycle and expect it to be flat and then they find it isn't, especially in the NW of the county.

Norwich is actually the place of my birth.

I am the Quiz Of The Week.

BTW How is her Majesty doing, glad to be home?

Nothing wrong with being born in Norwich, tdr1nka. I adore my adopted county of Norfolk. It's been a wonderful place to bring up WCMnr.

Her Maj? Well, everytime I've cycled over to Betty's place for a cuppa, she's never been there to serve me. Can't get a decent class of monarch these days....

Barnet,
Morning all, although I appear to be the only one here at the moment. The kettle is on and I have some Spicers Old English tea to share out. Anyone know about this company? I got the tea bags from a hotel I recently stayed in in the New Forest. Who is up for a cuppa?
