Morning all!
Blimey, a day without logging in and Tdr1nka ends up in a warzone, Speicher's placed in communicative limbo, and Chuffy's cracked the secret of time travel!
Any tea on the go?

ps: Arch, if you're reading this, it'd better be your official lunchbreak or after 3pm!!!:laugh:;)

Who me? I'm not here...

Really, I just popped my head round the door. If you hadn't spoken to me, I'd be gone by now...

I have actually done something I feel positive about, this morning. Hoorah! Not actually progress, but feeling like there might be, eventually.

I'll go now... See you all in an hour or so for lunch....

That's odd, I could have sworn I heard someone in here...

<sings>
Ain't nobody here but us chickens...

Ah, lunchtime! And I've just emailed a couple of pages of thoughts off to my supervisor, and really feel like I've done something. Trouble is, part of what I've done is establish how much I still need to do...

Anyway, it's fun time for an hour or so.

I've just made a cup a soup - tea, anyone, while the kettle's hot?

Tea? Yes please Arch!

We'll be watching for that green light going off at 1.30 and no peeking back in here until 3pm;).

Yes... One of my problems is that once I get a little thing done, I think I deserve a break...

Why do they put croutons in a cup-a-soup? I don't like lumpy drinks. I've had to pick them out with a fork to eat first...

And I hope everyone will vote in my kettle poll....

You sure? You're not giving the impression of someone in a fowl mood...

Sounds like a productive morning, and at least you've a clearer idea of what needs to be done in some sort of order?

Yes, I need to acquire a better knowledge of English topography, refresh my knowledge of skeletal development, and do some more detailed analysis of the data I have. Easy!:biggrin:

Arch are you taking an early tea break? :laugh:xx(

I will be going to the first of my Tai Chi lessons tonight. :biggrin: I have done a taster course (one day) so know something about what to expect. I have lost a bit of size recently, not weight, but size, so will just wear my baggiest pair of cottonish trousers*. Much tea may be consumed afterwards.

* and a tee shirt.

I'm at the department now, I've come in for a seminar at 5... I'm a bit early, it's true, but I wanted to meet up with a couple of friends...

I wish I could lose either size or weight. I think I put on a bit over Christmas, and cold weather and comfort eating don't help...

Didn't Edwina Curry once say people should knit their own comfort food?

Knitted pasta? Well, the spaghetti would be easy....

Oh dear and so would macaroni, if I had a knitting dolly. Stop it, I don't need any more projects!

No, I really don't need another knitting project! I'm only just over half way through the 9 foot of scarf my sister wants for her birthday. And a friend just showed me a cutting of that knitted brain Waffles flagged up last week, and I said if it was me, I'd have to knit a skeleton, and she said "Oh, you should!"...

You could do canelloni, on four needles... NO! Stop it!
